TEXT

Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 104/2000 of 17 December 1999 establishing the Common Organisation of the Market in the field of fishery and aquaculture products provides that the Member States shall ensure that the conditions laid down in Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 104/2000 are not complied with. Member States shall establish and publish the list of trade names admitted to their territory at least for all species listed in Annexes I to IV to this Regulation. This list shall indicate in respect of each species the scientific name, the name in the official language (s) of the Member State and, where appropriate, the name (s) accepted or tolerated at local or regional level.

Member States of the European Union should notify the Commission of the list of trade names admitted to their territory.

The marketing in our market of new species during the year 2012, makes it necessary to review the list of commercial denominations admitted in Spain established by Resolution of 28 May 2012, of the General Secretariat In order to include the new trade names approved by the Commission of Trade Names of Fisheries Species in Spain, approved by Order PRE/634/2004 of 5 March.

For all the above, and on a proposal from the Commission of Commercial Denominations of Fisheries Species in Spain, this General Secretariat of Fisheries, resolves:

First.

1. Establish the list of trade names of fishery species admitted in Spain.

2. The trade name shall be deemed to be an official name throughout the national territory. However, the different meanings of the commercial names listed and which have been recognized by the Autonomous Communities will be complementary to that one.

Second.

Give advertising to the list of commercial denominations of fishing species admitted in Spain by publication in the "Official State Gazette" as a single annex to this resolution, which replaces the list in the Annex of the resolution of 28 May 2012.

Madrid, February 8, 2013. -Secretary General of Fisheries Carlos Dominguez Diaz.
