The Abat Oliba University CEU, recognized as a private university by Law 20/2003, of July 4, of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, has approved the plans of studies of the teachings that lead to the obtaining of the titles He is a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management, a Bachelor of Science in Political and Administration Sciences, a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Bachelor of Journalism, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science. Advertising and Public Relations, of an official nature and validity throughout the national territory, of the Faculty of Social Sciences, whose implementation has been authorized by the Generality of Catalonia.

Accredited the approval of the above mentioned plans of studies by the Council of University Coordination and the fulfilment of the basic requirements provided for in Royal Decree 557/1991, of April 12, on creation and Recognition of universities and university centres, in force in so far as it does not object to the Organic Law 6/2001, of 21 December, of Universities, comes the approval of these titles.

This type-approval is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 35 (4) of the Organic Law 6/2001 of 21 December 1990 in the Royal Decrees 1421/1990 of 26 October 1990, 1423/1990 of 26 October 1990; On 26 October, as amended by Royal Decree 861/2001 of 20 July 2001, 1425/1990 of 26 October 1991, of 30 August 1991, of 30 August 1990, of 26 October 1990 and of 30 August 1991, of 30 August 1991, for which Licentian In the Administration and Management of Companies, of Licenced in Political and Administration Sciences, Graduate in Law, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Journalism, Licentiate in Psychology and Licentiate in Advertising and Public Relations, and the general guidelines of the plans of studies leading to the acquisition of those, and other rules laid down in their development.

In its virtue, on the proposal of the Minister of Education and Science and after deliberation of the Council of Ministers at its meeting on May 28, 2004,

D I S P O N G O:

Article 1. Object.

1. The titles of Licentiate in Administration and Business Management, Licentiate in Political Sciences and Administration, Licentiate in Law, Licentiate in Economics, Licentiate in Journalism, Licentiate in Psychology and In Advertising and Public Relations, of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University Abat Oliba CEU, recognized as a private university, once accredited the approval of its plans of studies by the Council of University Coordination and the fulfilment of the basic requirements provided for in the Royal Decree 557/1991, of 12 April, on the creation and recognition of universities and university centres.

The approvals of the curricula referred to in the previous paragraph have been published in the "Official State Gazette" of 17 March 2004, by Resolutions of the Rectorate of the University of Date February 20, 2004.

2. The Generality of Catalonia may authorise the imparting of the teachings leading to the obtaining of the titles approved in paragraph 1, and the University Abat Oliba CEU, at the time, proceed to the issue of the corresponding titles.

Article 2. Evaluation of the effective development of the teachings.

For the purposes of the provisions of this royal decree and paragraphs 5 and, where applicable, 6 of Article 35 of the Organic Law 6/2001, of 21 December, after the period of implementation of the curricula to which it relates the second subparagraph of Article 1 (1), the university shall submit to the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation the effective development of the relevant teaching.

Article 3. Issue of the title.

The titles referred to in Article 1 (1) shall be issued by the Rector of the Abat Oliba CEU University, in accordance with the provisions of Article 34 (2) of the Organic Law 6/2001 of 21 December 2001, and Other rules in force, with the express mention of this royal decree which has approved the titles.

Final disposition first. Enabling regulatory development.

By the Minister of Education and Science, in the field of their competences, the necessary provisions for the development and implementation of this royal decree will be dictated.

Final disposition second. Entry into force.

This royal decree will enter into force on the day following its publication in the "Official State Gazette".
