According to Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, of Education, as amended by the Organic Law 8/2013, of 9 December, for the improvement of the educational quality, the educational administrations will establish the curriculum of the Special regime sports lessons. The teaching centres shall develop and complete, where appropriate, the curriculum of the different stages and cycles in use of their autonomy as set out in Chapter II of Title V of that Law.

With the publication of Royal Decree 912/2012, of 8 June, establishing the title of Superior Sports Technician in Esgrima and setting out its minimum teachings and access requirements, the government has set the profile In the case of vocational training and the other aspects of academic management, these are the basic aspects of the curriculum which ensure a common training and guarantee the validity of diplomas throughout the national territory. It is therefore appropriate to determine, in the field of management of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, the extension and contextualisation of the content of the sports teaching modules included in the upper cycle, respecting the profile professional of the same.

Likewise, the curriculum of the higher degree of this title is established from the respect to the pedagogical, organizational and management autonomy of the centers that impart sports teachings, driving these the work in team of the teachers and the development of training, research and innovation plans in their teaching field and actions to promote the continuous improvement of training processes.

On the other hand, the sports teaching centers will develop and complement the curriculum established in this order, through the programs of the teaching team, which have to incorporate the design of learning and the development of flexible actions, which in the framework of the regulations governing the organisation of the centres, make it possible to adapt particular curriculum in each centre according to the available resources, without any Case involves the deletion of objectives that affect the professional profile of the cycle.

For all of the above, in its virtue, I have:

Article 1. Object.

This Order is intended to determine the higher grade curriculum corresponding to the title of Superior Sports Technician in Esgrima established in Royal Decree 912/2012, of June 8.

Article 2. Scope.

The curriculum established in this order will be applied in the territorial area of management of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

Article 3. Curriculum.

1. The curriculum for sports teaching of special regime corresponding to the title of Superior Sports Technician in Esgrima established in Royal Decree 912/2012, of June 8, is determined in the terms set in this order.

2. The professional profile of the curriculum, which is expressed by the general competence, and the professional, personal and social competences, is the one included in the title of Superior Sports Technician referred to in the previous section.

3. The general objectives of the curriculum, the objectives of the sports teaching modules expressed in terms of learning outcomes and their evaluation criteria are those included in the title of the Higher Sports Technician referred to in the paragraph 1 of this article.

4. The content of the sports teaching modules which form the present curriculum, adapted to the socio-sporting reality as well as to the economic, social and sports development prospects of the environment, is the one set out in Annex I of the order.

Article 4. Duration of the sports teaching modules.

1. The total duration of the lessons for the higher cycle, including the practical training module, is 780 hours.

2. The sports teaching modules of this cycle when offered under pressure shall be adjusted to the hourly distribution specified in Annex II of this order.

3. The right of registration of those students who have passed any sports teaching module in another Autonomous Community shall be guaranteed in the terms laid down in Article 35.3 of Royal Decree 1363/2007 of 24 October 2007.

Article 5. Practical training module.

1. In general, once the positive assessment has been achieved in the sports teaching modules set out in Annex III, the relevant practical training module shall be developed.

2. Without prejudice to the foregoing and as a consequence of the temporality of certain sporting activities which may prevent the development of the practical training module from being in conformity with the above assumptions, it may be organised in other periods that coincide with the development of the professional activity of the professional profile of the cycle.

3. The evaluation of the practical training module will be conditional on the positive evaluation of the rest of the sports teaching modules of their respective higher grade cycle.

Article 6. Project module.

1. The project module has an interdisciplinary character and incorporates the technological and organizational variables related to the essential aspects of the professional competence of the title of Superior Sports Technician in Esgrima.

2. This module will be taught by the tutor of the practical training module.

3. The development and monitoring of the project's professional module should combine individual and collective mentoring. In any case, at least 50% of the total duration will be carried out in an in-person manner, by completing with remote tutoring using information and communication technologies.

4. The evaluation of this professional module will be conditional on the positive evaluation of the remaining professional modules of the training cycle, including practical training.

Article 7. Spaces and equipment.

The spaces and equipment to be gathered by the approved centres for the provision of sports lessons are those set out in Annex IV of this order, and should enable the development of teaching activities in compliance with the requirements of the with the rules on equal opportunities, design for all and universal accessibility, on the prevention of occupational risks, as well as the regulations on safety and health in the workplace.

Article 8. Qualifications and accreditation of teacher requirements.

1. The qualification requirements of teachers with teaching assignment in the sports teaching modules which constitute the upper cycle referred to in Article 1 of this order are those set out respectively in Annexes VI, VII A and VIII of the Royal Decree 912/2012 of 8 June.

2. The conditions for establishing the figure of the specialist teacher in the public schools of the educational administration are those listed in Annex VII B of Royal Decree 912/2012, of 8 June.

Article 9. Adaptation to the socio-sports environment.

2. The curriculum regulated in this order is established taking into account the reality of the sports system, as well as the social, economic and geographical characteristics of the environment for the implementation of the title.

3. Sports education institutions shall have the necessary educational, organisational and economic management autonomy for the development of the teaching and their adaptation to the specific characteristics of the socio-economic, cultural and sports.

The centres authorised to deliver this higher grade cycle will concretize and develop the organisational and curricular measures that are most appropriate to the characteristics of their students and their sports environment, flexible and in use of their pedagogical autonomy, in the general framework of the educational project, in the terms established by the Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, of Education, as amended by the Organic Law 8/2013, of December 9, for the improvement of educational quality,

The curriculum regulated in this order will be developed and complemented in the didactic programs, enhancing the values linked to the fair game, respecting the others, respecting and caring for the body itself and the environment in which the sporting activity, as well as creativity, innovation and excellence in work.

Article 10. Adaptation to the educational environment.

1. Sports teaching centres managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport will develop and complement the curriculum established in this order, taking into account the characteristics of the students and the environment.

2. Also, the lessons of this cycle will be taught with a flexible and open methodology, based on self-learning and adapted to the conditions, abilities and personal needs of the students, in order to allow the reconciliation of the learning with other activities and responsibilities related to the sports practice of the modality.

Article 11. Distance offering.

1. Sports teaching modules which are capable of being offered at a distance or in full, as set out in Annex V, where they are required by their characteristics, shall ensure that all the objectives expressed in the learning outcomes, through face-to-face activities. For this purpose, account shall be taken of the general guidelines on distance learning in Annex V and the specific guidelines set out in Annex I to this order.

16. The Provincial Directorates and the Board of Education shall take the necessary measures and shall give precise instructions to the centres which are authorized to carry out these cycles of sports teaching under pressure to be put into effect. Article 12. Combined offer, intensive, and extraordinary temporary distribution.

2. In addition, sport lessons can be offered in non-school and intensive periods with a maximum hourly load of ten hours per day, with the relevant rest periods.

Article 13. Modular offering.

1. In order to reconcile learning with other activities and responsibilities, the Provincial Directorates and the Board of Education may establish specific measures to comply with the provisions of Article 24 of Royal Decree 1363/2007, 24 October, and enable a modular offering.

2. In order to promote the incorporation of adult and high performance athletes into sports teaching, the Directorate-General for Evaluation and Territorial Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport The Commission may, in accordance with Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EC) No 650/1, provide for the provision of services to the Member States of the European Union for the purposes of this Regulation. duration. Single additional disposition. Authorization to impart these teachings.

The Provincial Directorates and the Board of Education will deal with the Directorate-General for Evaluation and Territorial Cooperation, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, the authorization, to be able to impart the teaching of this sport teaching cycle in the cases described in Articles 11, 12 and 13 of this order, of the centres which so request and comply with the requirements required under the legislation in force.

The Directorate-General for Evaluation and Territorial Cooperation is authorised, in the field of its powers, to adopt the measures and to issue the necessary instructions for the implementation of the provisions of this order.

During the 2014/15 course, the upper cycle referred to in Article 1 of this order may be introduced.

This order will take effect the day following your publication in the "Official State Bulletin".
