TEXT

Royal Decree 1801/2003 of 26 December 2003 on general product safety, transposition of Directive 2001 /95/EC of 3 December, lays down, in Article 3.6, the obligation on the part of the Ministry of Health and Consumption, by means of a decision of the Director of the National Institute of Consumption, to publish in the Official State Gazette the references of the UNE standards harmonised in application of that provision, updating and deleting them, in their case.

The first harmonised standards published by the Commission in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ EU of 24 April 2004) were collected in the Resolution of 21 June 2004 (BOE No 170 of 15 July). The Resolution of 27 September 2006 (BOE No 248 of 17 October 2006) and Resolution of 8 March 2007 (BOE No 74 of 27 March) extended the Annex to the rules which the Commission subsequently published in the EU.

Having produced a new decision and the subsequent communication from the Commission in the framework of the implementation of Directive 2001 /95/EC on references of European standards under that Directive (OJ L 82, 30.3.2003, p. March 2011 and C n. 115 of 13 April 2011), their transposition into national law is necessary.

This Resolution has passed the mandatory report of the Directorate-General responsible for industrial safety.

This Institute, in compliance with the provisions of paragraph 6. of art. 3 of Royal Decree 1801/2003, has resolved, publish, for information purposes, and update the list of rules contained in the Annex to the Resolution of 21 June 2004, which will be replaced by the list of harmonised standards accompanying the Resolution as an Attachment.

Madrid, June 20, 2011. -Director of the National Consumer Institute, Etelvina Andreu Sánchez.
