Law on permits for testing of motor vehicles and motorcycles.

We the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino
promulgate and publish the following law approved by the Great and General Council
its meeting of 19 September 1973.
Art. 1
The factories manufacturers of motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, trailers, agricultural and
machines, subject to registration as well as the manufacturers factories bodywork, the
dealers or representatives or commission agents or sales agents of those factories, merchants
mechanical repair shops even on their own, have no obligation to equip
such vehicle registration documents and relativ license plate (or only one certificate in the cases provided
, eg. mopeds) when the same circulate for the purpose of technical test or demonstration
for sale.
In this case, however, these must be equipped with a plaque that
is transferable from vehicle to vehicle and either an authorization issued by the Public Vehicles Office.
For mopeds and those media that do not require the license plate is sufficient
single authorization.
Art. 2
To obtain the authorization referred to above must submit the application to the Government Commission
Vehicles shall accompany stes to documents which demonstrate the activity
for which such authorization is required, such as operating licenses or another document (mandate, power of attorney
, the agency contract, commission) if the license is not sufficient to establish such activities
.

Art. 3
The plaque is transferable from vehicle to vehicle and has the following features: for cars,

and the written test in red color; for motorcycles size mm in height. 165 mm in width
. 165, colors and written as for motor vehicles.
Art. 4
The authorization for the test movement is valid for the current year.
It shall be revoked by the Government Commission automob them if they are missing the
conditions for the release. Otherwise it shall be renewable at the Public Office Vehicles
upon payment of the annual fee and prvia performance of the insurance policy.
Art. 5 Tax provisions

Each issued authorization is subject to the payment of an annual fee of L. 25,000 for
category vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, tractors), L. 7000 for the motorcycles category | || (motorcycles and three wheelers, sidecars), L. 1500 for the category moped.
The cost of the license plate will be determined by the Hon State Congress.
On permits for the skiing ril test by the Public Vehicles Office
will be applied a stamp from L. 150.
The documents necessary to apply for the Account Authority one movement test will || | have the appropriate tax stamps provided for by applicable laws.
Art. 6
Content of the authorization for the circulation test
As is relevant to the movement of vehicles equipped with the authorization test, it is clarified that they

Art. 7

The penalty stretched applies if the vehicle circles without you on it is present the holder of the authorization

In such cases, the tax penalty is also applied under Article. 5 first paragraph of the present law.

The holder of the test movement in case of loss
must make a complaint to the police authorities within 48 hours.
The holder of the test movement that fails to file your claim for loss
to the police authorities within 48 hours is punishable by fine of 4,000 pounds to 10,000 pounds
.
Art. 8

Insurance Pursuant to Article 5 of Law 31 May 1971 n. 21 the minimum guarantee
compulsory insurance will be fixed by special decree ggenziale.
Art. 9
This Act comes into force on 1 October 1973.
