Microsoft Word - DL046-2012.docx REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO DECREE - LAW 8 May 2012 46 We the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino Having seen the need and urgency referred to in Article 2, paragraph 2, point b) Constitutional Law 183 of 15 December 2005 and Article 12 of the Qualified Law 184 of December 15, 2005 and more specifically the need and the urgency to redefine the courses of study and degrees awarded by the Istituto Musicale Sammarinese to align them new pathways resulting from the entry of the reform of the music conservatories, considering that with the introduction of the High Coreutica Education and Italian Musicale are no longer viable training courses so far provided by Law 82 of September 20, 1994, with the consequent risk to undermine and frustrate the operation of the Musical itself; Vista also the urgent need to provide the students of the institute of Music and their families the necessary information concerning the organization of courses for next year, ahead of the upcoming deadlines to enroll in the same courses; Given the decision of the Congress of State no. 43 adopted at its meeting on 24 April 2012; Having regard to Article 5, paragraph 2, of the Constitutional Law no. 185/2005 and Article 9 and Article 10, paragraph 2, of the Qualified Law n.186 / 2005; Promulgate and publish the following Decree-Law: STUDY REGULATIONS OF THE INSTITUTE OF MUSIC SAMMARINESE Article 1 (Purpose) 1. This Decree - Law sets out general criteria for the program of studies, the type of qualifications and rules on the credits, the academic courses and related teaching regulations of the Istituto Musicale Sammarinese. Art. 2 (Securities and courses) 1. The Istituto Musicale Sammarinese issues the following qualifications: a) a first level diploma, obtained at the end of the course of first level academic diploma; b) second-level academic diploma, obtained at the end of the academic diploma course of the second level; c) academic specialization diploma, obtained at the end of the specialization course; d) academic training diploma looking attained at the end of the research training course in the corresponding field; e) specialization diploma or master's degree, achieved at the end of the advanced course. 2. Qualifications obtained at the end of classes of similar level, within the same school have the same legal value. 3. The first-level academic diploma course aims to ensure adequate mastery of artistic methods and techniques as well as the acquisition of specific professional and disciplinary skills. 4. The second level academic degree course aims to provide students with an advanced level of education for complete mastery of artistic methods and techniques and the acquisition of high professional competence. 5. The postgraduate course aims to provide students with high professional skills in specific areas. 6. The research training course aims to provide the skills necessary for the planning and implementation of high quality research activities. The final qualification is equivalent to a university doctorate. 7. The course of improvement or master responds to cultural needs in-depth in certain areas of study or retraining or vocational and continuing education renewal. 8. the Istituto Musicale Sammarinese On the basis of appropriate agreements can issue the securities referred to in this Article, including jointly with other Sammarinese or foreign institutions of the same level. 9. The securities referred to in subparagraphs a) b) c) d) and e) of paragraph 1 have legal value. 10. The recognition of these securities outside the Republic takes place on the basis of existing international agreements. Art. 3 (Artistic production, targeted research and training) 1. The Istituto Musicale Sammarinese performs production and in music research, in order to facilitate the achievement of educational goals and to pursue high professional and artistic levels. For this purpose, it may enter into agreements with public or private entities. 2. The Istituto Musicale Sammarinese can implement educational activities aimed at permanent and recurrent training, to adult education, as well as external training activities through contracts and agreements. 3. The Istituto Musicale Sammarinese can activate preparatory courses to the music as well as schools with specific purposes related to educational goals at no more than the end of which a certificate or qualification.
4. The Istituto Musicale Sammarinese can activate basic Structured courses, pre-academic end, regulated so as to allow the frequency to pupils enrolled in primary school, middle school and secondary school. Regulations approved by the Congress of State governing such courses. 5. The criteria and procedures for the conduct of educational activities are regulated in the academic regulations set forth in art. 9. Art. 4 (Sorting and general educational schools) 1. The training Istituto Musicale Sammarinese is divided into the different levels of courses related to schools. In the first application schools are identified in Table A below may subsequently be modified or supplemented through a special decree on the proposal of Managing Director. 2. Schools are responsible for the teaching of courses of different levels in them activated. Within each school, the courses can also be organized in more branches in relation to specific content. Art. 5 (Collaborations) 1. For the pursuit of their educational goals, the Institute promotes all forms of cooperation with institutions, including foreign ones, of high artistic and musical education, universities, primary and secondary schools, private institutions, promoting the exchange of teachers and students. 2. It promotes, also through agreements or consortia, any useful collaboration with public and private entities. In particular, it encourages the conduct of practical training periods and cycles of conferences, seminars, tutorials, foreign language assistantships. It promotes the financing of scholarships for all forms of teaching as well as training grants for research and post-research training also reserved for foreign students. 3. The Institute shall, in the manner determined by the Academic Regulations of the Institute, the publicity of the different forms of cooperation and the results thereof. Art. 6 (academic training credits) 1. One academic credit, hereinafter referred to as 'credit', corresponds to 25 hours per student engagement; you can justifiably determine increases or decreases of the above hours to individual schools within the 20 percent limit. 2. The average amount of learning efforts, carried out in a year by a full-time student is conventionally fixed at 60 credits. 3. Teaching organization determine, also, for each school in the percentage of time that must be devoted to personal study, to laboratory activities or other individual learning activities type. Teaching regulations assign, as a rule, than the aggregated for each loan, the theoretical lessons 30 percent, the theoretical and practical activities 50 percent and the laboratory work 100 percent. 4. The credits corresponding to each educational activity are acquired by the student by passing the exam or other form of profit verification provided by the academic regulations 5. The full or partial recognition of the credits obtained by a student, for the continuation of studies in another course of the same institution or in other institutions of the same rank responsibility of the institutions that welcomes students with predetermined procedures and criteria established in the relevant academic regulations. 6. They can be recognized as credits, according to its teaching regulations, the knowledge and professional skills acquired in a specific discipline. Art. 7 (Admissions) 1. To be eligible for a first degree course, students must be in possession of a secondary school diploma. 2. The teaching regulations, subject to the guidance activities also require the possession or acquisition of an adequate initial preparation. To this end, teaching regulations establish which knowledge is required for admission and its verification procedures also at the conclusion of preparatory formative activities, carried out in collaboration with upper secondary education institutions. 3. To be eligible for an Academic Diploma second level course, students must have a degree or first level academic diploma. It is also necessary that the knowledge gained is consistent and adequate to the second level course. 4. To be admitted to a specialized course, students must have a first-level academic diploma or degree or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid. 5. To be admitted to a training course in search, you must be in possession of the academic degree of second level or degree.
6. To be admitted to a graduate course or master, you must be in possession of first level academic diploma or degree. The teaching regulations define the circumstances in which it is required to hold the academic degree of second level or degree. Art. 8 (Obtaining of titles and duration of the course) 1. To achieve the first level diploma, the student must have acquired at least 180 credits. 2. To achieve the academic degree of the second level, the student must have acquired at least 120 credits. 3. To achieve the specialization diploma or master's degree, the student must have acquired at least 60 credits. 4. For each course is a term of years, in proportion to the total number of credits in accordance with the preceding paragraphs, taking into account that correspond to one year, as a rule, 60 credits. Art. 9 (Academic Regulations) 1. The teaching regulations and amendments thereto shall be established by regulations adopted by the Congress on the proposal of the State Director and also made public by electronic means. 2. The regulation establishes: a) the name and formative objectives of the courses, indicating the respective schools; b) the general framework of the training activities to be included in the curricula; c) credits for each formative activities; d) the characteristics of the final examination for graduation; e) the list of the courses teachings and of the possible subdivision into modules, as well as other educational activities; f) the specific educational objectives, credits and possible preparatory aspects of each teaching and any other educational activities; g) curricula offered to students and presentation rules, where necessary, the individual plans of study; h) the type of courses, exams and other procedures of assessment of students; i) the provisions on compulsory attendance to an extent, however, not less than 80 per cent of the totality of training activities, with the exception of individual study. 3. The teaching regulations also govern aspects of organization of joint teaching in degree programs, with particular reference to: a) the objectives, times and ways by which the competent organs for their collective planning, coordination and verification the results of the training activities; b) the procedures for annual teaching tasks, including supplementary activities, guidance and mentoring; c) the procedures for conducting the examinations and other progress tests and the final examination for the award of the qualification; d) the manner in which we arrive at the profit of the individual assessment of the student, which must still be expressed through votes of thirty for exams and one hundred and ten for the final test, with eventual praise; e) the valuation of the initial preparation of students to be admitted to the academic diploma courses. Art. 10 (Final Provisions) 1. Studies undertaken to achieve academic degrees based on the former education systems are evaluated in credits and recognized for the achievement of diplomas in Article 2. 2. is hereby repealed Title III (Organization school - program of studies) of the Law of 20 September 1994. 82.
