No. 16. Law that makes changes to the Criminal Code. We the Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino promulgate and send for publishing the following law approved by the Great and General Council in His models Returned April 15, 1926: Art. 1. The financial penalties (fines and fine) - imposed by the Criminal Code and the Laws Special issued to the whole 1920 - except for those of financial fiscal nature - have doubled in both the minimum and in the maximum. Art. 2. In cases where the punishment is graded according to the amount of the pecuniary loss derived from the offense (art. 247, 492 et seq. 509, 527 et seq. CP etc.) Said amount be doubled. Art. 3. In relation to art. CP 156 it is determined that each day of captivity is ten pounds in penalties. Art. 4. When the beatings or minor injuries, according to art. 454 CP, produced illness or inability to attend to the ordinary occupations for a period not exceeding ten days we proceed only upon complaint under Article. 32 et seq. CPP Art. 5. The simple threats not affected are punished, on complaint in accordance with art. 32 CPP, fine adhesive mentioned in the last part of Article. 479 CP Art. 6. The present law shall be applied only to crimes committed after its entry into force. Given at Our Residence April 15, 1926.
