Law No. 17 establishing the deposit to be made in civil cases of second, third and extraordinary degree. We the Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino promulgate and send for publishing the following law approved by the Great and General Council in His Returning Delli April 15, 1926: Art. 1. In appeals from judgments or civil action of any kind is required, on pain of inadmissibility of the appeal, a twenty-five pounds deposit. This will be refunded in case of total or partial reform of the appealed judgment and confiscated, in the interest of the tax authorities, in any other case; including the waiver of the appeal proceedings started. The deposit receipt should be attached to the quote that introduces the appeal, in the case of cross appeal, the instance that it proposes. Art. 2. For the third instance or appeals for review by appellate rulings and appeals for any extraordinary remedy against civilians will be judged, on pain of inadmissibility, be attached receipt for sixty pounds deposit. This will be refunded in case of total or partial reform of the judgment or confiscated, the Inland Revenue interest, in any other case.
