LAW 12 June 1953, n. 15. Changes to the criminal law and criminal eprocedura Civil Procedure. We the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino We promulgate and publish the following law approved by the Great and General Council at its meeting on June 12, 1953: Art. 1. Financial penalties established by the Penal Code and by subsequent criminal laws enacted to all 1918 increased twenty times as much as the maximum in the minimum. Fines and penalties established in special laws enacted from 1919 to 1945 all have so much in minimum sixfold since the maximum. In any case, the minimum financial penalty may not be less than two hundred pounds. Art. 2. In cases where the penalty is in the Penal Code graduat according to the amount of the pecuniary loss, that amount should, for all purposes, be multiplied by three hundred. Art. 3. In relation to art. 156 of the Criminal Code every day of captivity will pay a fine of two hundred lire. Article 4. The application limit of cuiall'art penal decree. 2 of Law September 9, 1919, n. 35, is raised to ten thousand pounds in penalties. 03; 15 Art. 5. 'fixed in a thousand lire deposit: a) appeals from judgments and civil measures; b) in actions of third instance or review by judgments of appeal or for extraordinary appeals against civilians judged. It 'set at five hundred pounds deposit for appeals from ordinary and summary penal sentences. 03; 15 Art. 6. The competence of the Conciliator Judge is raised to five thousand lire. 03; 15 Art. 7. Civil cases in value not exceeding twenty thousand pounds will be carried out on stamped paper by L. 25. 03; 15 Art. 8. The cases brought before the Labour Court to be carried out on plain paper. 03; 15 Art. 9. The fixed fee for entry in the register of the defenders (Art. 3 Decree 27 January 1920, n. 2) is high two thousand lire. 03; 15 Art. 10. The provisions of art. 2 and 3 are also applicable to pending proceedings. Those art. 1 will be applied only to crimes committed after the entry into force of this Act. 03; 15 Art. 11. The law Dec. 4, 1947, n. 52 is repealed with the exception of Art. 7. This Act comes into force on 1 July 1953. As at Our Residence, this day of 13 June 1953 (1652 dFR).
