RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION July 2005 Approved by the Federation Council on 13 July 2005 OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION 56; Legislative Assembly of the Russian Federation, 1998, No. 1, art. 4; 2003, N 50, sect. 4858; 2005, N 10, sect. 760) the following changes: 1) in Article 4-1: paragraph 3 should be redrafted to read: " 3. The name (trade name) of the subject of the insurance business must contain: 1) an indication of the organizational and legal form of the subject of the insurance case; 2) an indication of the activity of the subject of the insurance. Cases using the words "insurance" and (or) "reinsurance", "mutual insurance", or "insurance broker", as well as derivatives of such words and phrases; 3) a symbol, which is the individualising subject of the insurance business. "; add paragraph 4 as follows: " 4. The subject of the insurance business is not entitled to use a fully designation individualising the other subject of the insurance business. This provision does not apply to the children and dependent societies of the subject of the insurance business. "; (2) paragraph 1, subpara. 1 of Article 32-3, as follows: " 1) the use of a licence by a legal person, to apply to the body of the insurance supervision of the license, the completely identification, the individualising other subject of the insurance case, the information about which is entered into the single state register of the subjects of the insurance business. This provision does not apply to the children and dependent societies of the subject of the insurance case; "; 3) article 35 should read as follows: Article 35. Review of disputes Disputes relating to insurance, disputes over the right to use the name of the insured person (trade name), as well as disputes arising out of the actions of the insurance supervisory authority and its officials, are settled by a court, arbitral tribunal or arbitral tribunal according to their competence.
