RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on amendments to the Federal law on the use of Atomic Energy "adopted by the State Duma June 6, 2001 year Article 1. To amend the Federal law dated November 21, 1995, N 170-FZ "on the use of Atomic Energy" (collection of laws of the Russian Federation, 1995, no. 48, art. 4552) as follows: 1. the first part of article 3 Add new fifth and sixth paragraphs to read: "radiating nuclear reactor build-machine product containing nuclear materials and designed to obtain thermal energy in a nuclear reactor through a controlled nuclear reaction;
irradiated fuel assemblies nuclear reactor-irradiated in a nuclear reactor and extracted from it fuel assemblies containing spent nuclear fuel. "
2. Article 47 complement the new third sentence to read as follows: "Temporary technological storage of irradiated fuel assemblies nuclear reactors in order to improve safety and reduce costs for subsequent handling and processing to extract valuable components are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation."
3. Article 64: to complement the new part 2 to read as follows: "export from the Russian Federation and import into the Russian Federation fuel assemblies nuclear reactors are operated under the conditions of civil law contracts. The procedure for exercising export from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation nuclear reactor fuel assemblies shall be determined by the Government of the Russian Federation. ";

Article 2. This federal law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
