RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On Amendments and Additions to the Federal Law "About Veterans" Adopted by State Duma on April 14, 2000 Approved The Council of the Federation on 19 April 2000 Article 1. To amend the Federal Law of 12 January 1995 No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" (Assembly of the Laws of the Russian Federation, 1995, N 3, st. 168; 2000, N 2, sect. 161) the following changes and additions: 1. In article 2, paragraph 1: (1), add the following: "and" the following: "and) persons who worked in enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the period of the blockade from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944 "For the Defence of Leningrad"; in subparagraph 3 of the phrase " persons who worked in enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the period of the blockade from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944 and Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad"; " to be deleted. 2. Paragraph 1 of article 15, paragraph 1, should read: " 1. The participants in the Great Patriotic War from among the persons referred to in subparagraphs (a) to (f) and (1) of paragraph 1 of article 2 of this Federal Act are entitled to the following rights and benefits: ". 3. In article 18: of the words "persons who worked in enterprises, in institutions and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the period of the blockade from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944 and the awarded medal" For the Defence of Leningrad ", and" delete; In the first paragraph of paragraph 1, the words "working in enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the period of blockade from 8 September 1941 to 27 January 1944 and the awarded medal" For the Defence of Leningrad "and persons" to be excluded. Article 2. This Federal Act shall enter into force on 1 January 2001. Article 3. The President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation shall bring their regulatory legal acts into conformity with this Federal Law.
