RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW On ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Adopted by the State Duma on April 21, 2000 The Council of the Federation on 17 May 2000 Article 1 Ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, signed on behalf of the Russian Federation in the city of New York on 24 September 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the Treaty). Article 2 The implementation of the Treaty is based on the following: 1) the maintenance of the combat readiness, reliability and security of the Russian Federation's nuclear arsenal at the level of national security. Article 3 In the process of implementing the Contract: 1. Article 6 1.
