FEDERAL LAW On introducing changes to Articles 10 and 15 of the Federal Law "On arms" adopted by the State Duma October 20, 1999 Article 1. The Federal Law of 13 December 1996 "On arms" (Assembly of Russian Laws, 1996, N 51, Art. 5681) the following changes: 1. Article 10, paragraph 6, to read: " (6) Reindeer Husbandry and Horse Breeding Organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, conducting field work related to geological exploration, conservation of nature and natural resources resources in the regions of the Far North and similar areas, specialized enterprises, leading hunting or marine animals, as well as a specialized enterprise providing hydrographic navigation for the of the Northern Sea Route; ". 2. Part Two of Article 15 should read as follows: " Organization of all forms of ownership of reindeer husbandry and horse breeding, divisions of the Russian Academy of Sciences, conducting field work related to geological exploration, protection of Nature and natural resources in the regions of the Far North and similar areas, specialized enterprises, leading hunting or marine animals, as well as a specialized enterprise providing hydrographic support traffic on the North Sea Route, have the right To acquire and use a hunting firearm, including a barrel-gun. The procedure for issuing a licence for the purchase of these weapons and the rules for its use shall be established by the Government of the Russian Federation. " Article 2. This Federal Law shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
