RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW About Russian Federation's accession to the Unidroit Convention on International Financial Leasing adopted by the State Duma on 16 January 1998 Approved by the Federation Council on 28 January 1998 Article 1. Accede on behalf of the Russian Federation to the Unidroit Convention on International Financial Leasing, dated 28 May 1988, with the following declaration: " Russian Federation, in accordance with article 20 of the Unidroit Convention on International Financial Institutions, Leasing states that, instead of the provisions of article 8, paragraph 3, of the Convention, it will apply the rules of its civil law.
