Expired-the Federal law dated January 10, 2002 N 2-FZ RUSSIAN FEDERATION FEDERAL LAW on social protection of citizens exposed to radiation due to nuclear testing at the Semipalatinsk site adopted by the State Duma July 20, 1995 onwards this federal law aims at ensuring the social protection of citizens of the Russian Federation, have been subjected to radiation due to nuclear testing at the Semipalatinsk test site.
Article 1. To extend certain benefits and compensation provided for by the law of the Russian Federation on the social protection of citizens exposed to radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster "(records of the RSFSR Congress of people's deputies and the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, 1991, # 21, art. 699; Gazette of the Congress of people's deputies of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation, 1992, no. 32, St. 1861), citizens living in 1949-1963, human settlements, of the Russian Federation and abroad included in the Government of the Russian Federation-approved lists of the settlements subjected to radioactive radiation due to nuclear testing at the Semipalatinsk test site, and on the first and second generation children referred to citizens suffering from diseases due to radiation effects on their parents.
Article 2. Citizens who have received during periods of total radiative forcing (accumulated) effective dose exceeding 25 ls (REM), benefits and compensation, established for citizens referred to in paragraphs 4, 5, 9-11, 13, 14, 16-19 the first part of article 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 10 of the first paragraph of article 15, paragraphs 10, 11, 13 of the first paragraph of article 17, article 24 and paragraph 1 of article 32 of the law of the Russian Federation on the social protection of citizens exposed to radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster ".
Article 3. Citizens who have received during periods of total radiative forcing (accumulated) effective dose over 5 ls (REM), but not more than 25 czv, benefits and compensation, established for citizens referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the first paragraph of article 15 of the law of the Russian Federation on the social protection of citizens exposed to radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster ".
Article 4. First and second generation children of persons referred to in articles 2 and 3 of this federal law, individuals who are ill as a result of radiation exposure on their parents, benefits and compensation, referred to in the first and second part of article 25 of the law of the Russian Federation on the social protection of citizens exposed to radiation due to the Chernobyl disaster ".
Article 5. Citizens referred to in articles 2 and 3 of this federal law permits a single sample (in accordance with the procedure determined by the Government of the Russian Federation), which give the right to receive compensation and benefits from the moment of their presentation.
Document confirming the right to receive compensation and benefits children, referred to in article 4 hereof, is the conclusion of a regional inter-ministerial expert Council to establish causation of disease, disability and deaths from radiation exposure.
Article 6. Financing costs associated with the implementation of this federal law, shall be carried out from the federal budget and target.
Article 7. The President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation within three months to bring its legal acts in compliance with this federal law.
Article 8. This federal law shall enter into force three months after the date of its official publication.
