The Romanian Parliament adopts this law + Article 1 Approval Government Emergency Ordinance no. 126 126 of 10 September 1999 to amend and supplement Government Ordinance no. 39/1999 on the completion of the restructuring process of the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank-Bancorex-S.A. and the merger by absorption of this bank with Banca Comerciala Romana-S.A., modified and completed by Government Ordinance no. 63/1999 , published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 441 of 10 September 1999, with the following amendments: 1. In Article I, point 3, letter e) of Article 5 shall read as follows: " e) Banca Comerciala Romana-S.A. will take over from the staff of the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank-Bancorex-S.A. a number of no more than 500 employees, which it will frame in its structures in the plant and territorial units and which will be considered transferred in the interest of the service, following that, until the date of the merger, the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank-Bancorex-S.A. to lay off the remaining personnel under the conditions art. 21 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 98/1999 ; the functions and salary rights of the staff taken will be determined by the Romanian Commercial Bank-S.A., according to its needs and regulations. " 2. In Article I, point 10, paragraph 1 of Article 16 shall read as follows: "" Art. 16. -(1) The loss from the bookkeeping of the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank-Bancorex-S.A., remaining after the operations provided in art. 10 and 15, will be taken on the balance sheet of merger prepared by Banca Comerciala Romana-S.A. in the account Other claims on the state budget and will be covered with government securities, in the amount of 2.357.86 billion lei, issued in favour of the Bank Romanian Commercial-S.A., with September 10, 1999. The government securities will be negotiable, they will carry an interest rate whose rate will be equal to the average monthly interest rate of active interest rates charged by banks in relations with non-bank customers, with a maturity of 2 years. " + Article 2 Annex to Government Emergency Ordinance no. 126/1999 to amend and supplement Government Ordinance no. 39/1999 on the completion of the restructuring process of the Romanian Foreign Trade Bank-Bancorex-S.A. and the merger by absorption of this bank with Banca Comerciala Romana-S.A., modified and completed by Government Ordinance no. 63/1999 ,, is repealed. This law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies at its meeting on June 12, 2001, in compliance with the provisions of 74 74 para. (2) of the Romanian Constitution.
