Law No. 15 of 22 February 2001 on the ratification of the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs adopted on 2 July 1999, published in PARLIAMENT ISSUING the OFFICIAL GAZETTE nr. 103 of 28 February 2001, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.


Article 1 shall ratify the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs adopted on 2 July 1999.


Article 2 the State Office for inventions and trademarks of Romania will perform on behalf of the powers and procedures provided for in the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs.


Article 3 shall empower the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Office for inventions and trademarks to make the declarations provided for in the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 6 November 2000, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
PRESIDENT of the SENATE, pp. NICHOLAS V this law was adopted by the Chamber of deputies at its meeting on 6 February 2001, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
