Law No. 23 of 22 February 2001 approving Ordinance No. 53/1999 on accession to some protocols and acceptance of amendments to the 1974 International Convention for the safety of life at sea, done at London on 1 November 1974 at the 1966 International Convention on load lines over, done at London on 5 April 1966 and the International Convention of 1973 for the prevention of pollution from ships, as modified by the protocol concluded at London on 17 February 1978 PARLIAMENT ISSUING published in MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 100 of 27 February 2001, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.


The sole article approving Ordinance No. 53 of 19 august 1999 concerning the accession to certain protocols and acceptance of amendments to the 1974 International Convention for the safety of life at sea, done at London on 1 November 1974 at the 1966 International Convention on load lines over, done at London on 5 April 1966 and the International Convention of 1973 for the prevention of pollution from ships, as modified by the protocol concluded at London on 17 February 1978 issued pursuant to article 3. and (b). (H) point 10 of the law No. 140/1999 on empowering the Government to issue decrees and published in the Official Gazette of Romania, part I, no. 412 of 27 august 1999.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 21 February 2000, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
SENATE PRESIDENT NICOLAE V this law was adopted by the Chamber of deputies at its meeting on 6 February 2001, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.
