Law No. 137 of 24 July 2000 concerning the legal regime of land plot to the Palace of the Romanian Parliament, the PARLIAMENT published in ISSUING the OFFICIAL GAZETTE nr. 348 of 26 July 2000, the Parliament of Romania adopts this law.
Article 1 (1) which relates to the Land Parliament Palace, as delimited by Annex to the Government decision nr. 718/1991 and by Government decision No. 372/93, is and remains in the public domain of the State and in the administration of the Romanian Parliament, through the Chamber of Deputies.
(2) decisions concerning the use of land and the destination referred to in paragraph 1. (1) shall be taken by decision of the Parliament.
(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of law No. 213/1998 on public property and its legal status, change the legal regime of land referred to in paragraph 1. (1) it may provide only by law.
Article 2 persons or bodies that have been expropriated for public land that lies within the land plot to the Palace of the Romanian Parliament, referred to in art. 1, will be able to harness the potential claims according to law No. 33/1994 on expropriation for public utility cause.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 29 June 2000, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (1) of the Constitution of Romania.
