Law No. 130 of 29 June 1998 on the ratification of the Protocol between the Governments of Romania and Macedonia on the bilateral legal framework, signed in Skopje on 8 March 1996 the PARLIAMENT published in ISSUING the OFFICIAL GAZETTE nr. 252 of 7 July 1998, the Romanian Parliament adopts this law.


The sole article Shall ratify the Protocol between the Governments of Romania and Macedonia on the bilateral legal framework, signed in Skopje on 8 March 1996.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 18 May 1998, in compliance with the provisions of art. 74 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania.

CHAMBER of DEPUTIES PRESIDENT PAULA IVANESCU PROTOCOL between the Governments of Romania and Macedonia on the bilateral legal framework the Government of Romania and the Government of Macedonia, hereinafter referred to as the parties, acting for strengthening contractual relationships between the two countries, noting that as a result of essential political and economic transformations in both countries is required to regulate bilateral legal framework, have agreed as follows: Article 1 the parties conclude that the agreements listed in the annex. 1 to this protocol shall continue to remain in force and in Romanian-Macedonian relations, pending the conclusion of new agreements with the same object.
In this category are also included, and new agreements concluded between the two countries after 1 January 1995.


Article 2 Arrangements listed in annex No. 2 to this protocol lapses in relations between the two countries, starting from the date of entry into force of this protocol.


Article 3 appendices. 1 and 2 are an integral part of this protocol.
This protocol is without prejudice to the agreements concluded at the inter-agency level.


Article 4 this protocol shall enter into force on the date of the last notification by which the Parties inform each other as they have fulfilled the procedures laid down in their domestic law for the entry into force of the Protocol.
Done at Skopje on 8 March 1996, in two originals, each in the Romanian and Macedonian languages, both texts being equally authentic.

2. sanitary-veterinary Convention between Romania and R.S.F.I. (Belgrade, august 4, 1956 which came into force on; 4 January 1957; duration of validity-5 years, with automatic extension for an indefinite period.
