CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES PRESIDENT PAULA MARIA IVANESCU + PROTOCOL between the Government of Romania and the Government of Macedonia on the The Government of Romania and the Government of Macedonia, acting to strengthen the contractual basis of relations between the two states, finding that following the essential political and economic transformations in both countries, it is necessary to regulate the bilateral legal framework, agreed the following: + Article 1 The Parties shall find that the arrangements listed in Annex no. 1 to this Protocol continues to remain in force in the Romanian-Macedonian relations, until the conclusion of new agreements with the same object. The new agreements concluded between the two states after 1 January 1995 are also included in this category. + Article 2 The agreements listed in Annex no. 2 to this Protocol shall cease its validity in relations between the two States, with effect from the date of entry into force of this Protocol. + Article 3 Annexes no. 1 1 and 2 shall form an integral part of this Protocol. This Protocol shall be without prejudice to agreements concluded at interdepartmental level. + Article 4 This Protocol will enter into force on the date of the last notification by which the Parties inform each other that they have carried out the procedures provided for by their domestic law for the entry into force Concluded in Skopje on 8 March 1996, in two original copies, each in Romanian and Macedonian, both texts being equally authentic. Agreement on postal service between Romania and R.S.F.I. (Bucharest, January 13, 1956); entered into force on August 1, 1956; duration of validity-indefinite. 2. Sanitary-veterinary convention between Romania and R.S.F.I. (Belgrade, August 4, 1956; entered into force on January 4, 1957; duration of validity-5 years, with automatic extension for an indefinite period. 3.
