Romanian Parliament adopts this law.
To approve the establishment of the Ministry of Health for 1991, a special fund in the amount of 9.9 billion, to supplement budgetary resources were increased by EUR 3.0 billion lei through indexation to cover fully the necessary expenses of purchasing medicines and sanitary materials, maintenance and operation of establishments, including staff costs, current and capital repairs, purchase of equipment and inventory items, equipment, funding and other expenses of the hospital.
Special Fund consists of surplus revenue in the amount of 8.9 billion, remained in the 2% set by Government Decision no. 219/1991, as well as from proceeds of sanitary units, amounting to 1.0 billion lei.
Making special fund expenditure to be made on achieving revenue measure provided.
Government will develop and put into practice a special program to increase the production of medicines and medical supplies, as well as ensuring completing the necessary hard currency imports.
