The Romanian Parliament adopts this law Provisions Decree-Law no. 118/1990 on the granting of rights to persons persecuted for political reasons by the established dictatorship with effect from 6 March 1945 shall also extend to persons deported abroad after 23 August 1944. In this category are included persons constituted in prisoners by the Soviet side after August 23, 1944. This law was passed by the Senate at its meeting on December 5, 1990.
