Law No. 4 of 13 July 1990 (* updated *) concerning remuneration and other rights of the President, senators and deputies (updated until 29 June 1993 *) ISSUER-PARLIAMENT-Text-*) originally was published in MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 91 of 14 July 1990. This is the updated form of S.C. The President of Romania shall enjoy immunity as members of Parliament. The immunity of the President of Romania may not be lifted as long as the law does not mandate or ceased.

Article 6 the Romanian President, senators and deputies are entitled to free transport on the Romanian railways and car lines, naval and air.
Travel tickets for the means of transport referred to in paragraph 1. 1 will be issued on the basis of licences fold senator or Deputy of some special passes issued by the Ministry of public works, transport and spatial planning.

Article 7 duration of the exercise of the mandate of a Deputy or senator, the contract of employment of the person concerned shall be suspended, except in cases in which the standing Bureau, at the request of Senator or Deputy, decides otherwise. Upon the termination of the mandate of the exercise, in the case of their resume activity in the execution of the same contract of employment.
Where the duration of the mandate of the exercise taking place of reorganizations, these units are obliged to communicate to the senators or deputies new job set, in compliance with the provisions of labour legislation.

The contribution provided by the law for social insurance fund budget supports the Senate Presidency, or, where appropriate, of the Assembly of Deputies, and the additional pension contribution is payable by those concerned.

State allowance for children is paid in the amount previously established for the exercise of its mandate, on the basis of evidence issued by the unit to which the allowance has been established.
From ceasing to hold office, senators or deputies retirees may require recalculation of the pension, taking into account 6 the allowance received and the period of their mandate.
The rights referred to in art. 2, as the case may be cumulated with the pension or other income.
This law was adopted by the Senate at its meeting on 5 July 1990.
