MOTION for a RESOLUTION paragraph 85/X 1 given the desire to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two States; Having regard to the desire to strengthen cooperation among themselves in the fight against crime; Aware of the interest of both countries to promote cooperation in the criminal field, in particular in the field of extradition. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the Extradition Convention between the Portuguese Republic and the people's Democratic Republic of Algeria, signed in Algiers, the 22 January 2007, the text of which, in the versions authenticated, in Portuguese and Arabic If published in the annex.
