MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 75 /X

Considering that the Council Decision of June 7, 2007 on the System of

Own Resources of the European Communities (Decision 2007 /436/CE, Euratom), has

by objective to apply the findings on the financing of the Union budget

European set out in the framework of the comprehensive agreement reached on the Dossier Perspectives

Financial at the European Council meeting in Brussels in December 2005;

Considering that the own resource system should ensure adequate resources having

in view the harmonious development of the policies of the European Union under reserve of

a strict budgetary discipline;

Recognizing that the Decision constitutes the indispensable legal instrument for the

European Union may have the necessary resources to finance its budget.

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:

Approve the Council Decision of June 7, 2007 on the system of resources

own of the European Communities (Decision 2007 /436/CE, Euratom), the text thereof, in the

authenticated version in Portuguese language, publishes in attachment.
