PRESIDENCY of the COUNCIL of MINISTERS resolution No. 127/X taking into account that the European Centre for medium-term weather forecast aims to develop the capacity to develop medium-term weather forecasts and gotta tell them to Member States, thus giving a valuable boost to the development of Meteorology in Europe; Considering the importance for the European economy to a considerable improvement of the weather forecast in the medium term; Whereas scientific and technical investigations to be carried out to this end will give a valuable boost to the development of Meteorology in Europe. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the amendments to the Convention on the establishment of the European Centre for medium-term weather forecast and the amendment to the Protocol on privileges and immunities of the European Centre for medium-term weather forecast adopted in Reading, in the extraordinary meeting of the Council of the European Centre on 22 April 2005, whose texts, authenticated versions in English and Portuguese language translation, published in annex.
