MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 138 /X/4.

Considering the modernizing transformation strategy of labour law that is

currently to be continued;

Desiring to potentiate the objectives and tools of Portuguese cooperation by means of

an appropriate participation in the multilateral system;

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following proposal for a Resolution:

Approve the withdrawal by the Portuguese Republic of the Convention on the Protection and

Integration of Aboriginal Populations and Other Tribal and Semitribal Populations in the

Independent Countries, adopted at the 40 th Session of the General Conference of the Organization

International Labour, in Geneva, on June 26, 1957, approved, for ratification,

by Decree-Law No. 43281 of October 29, 1960.
