PRESIDENCY of the COUNCIL of MINISTERS RESOLUTION No. 138/X/4th Considering the strategy of modernizadora transformation of labour legislation that is currently being pursued; Desiring to promote the objectives and instruments of Portuguese cooperation through appropriate participation in the multilateral system; So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve the withdrawal by the Portuguese Republic to the Convention on the protection and integration of Indigenous Populations and Other Tribal Populations and Semitribais in independent countries, adopted at the 40th Session of the General Conference of the International Labour Organization in Geneva, 26 June 1957, approved for ratification by Decree-Law No. 43281, of 29 October 1960.
