1 motion for a resolution paragraph 110/X whereas within the framework of the restructuring process of the European Conference of postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), made on the occasion of the Council meeting, held in Copenhagen in April 2002, adopted the amendments to the Convention establishing the European Radiocommunications Office (ERO), signed at the Hague on 23 June 1993 in order to proceed to the creation of a single support office covering the functions of two existing offices – the European Radiocommunications Office (ERO) and the European Telecommunications Office (ETO), created within the framework of the Convention establishing the European Telecommunications Office (ETO), opened for signature, in Copenhagen, on 1 September 1996; In view of the fact that the said amendments, in addition to establishing the creation of a new Cabinet and impart a new wording to various articles of the Convention for the creation of the European Radiocommunications Office (ERO), introduce a revised version of the text of a clearer and more rigorous registration. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: Approving the amendments to the Convention establishing the European Radiocommunications Office (ERO), adopted in Copenhagen on 9 April 2002, the text of the authenticated version in English and translated to the Portuguese language as well as the text in the authenticated version in English and translated to the Portuguese language of the Convention establishing the European Communications Office (ECO), 2 adopted in Copenhagen on 9 April 2002, as a result of those amendments, published in the annex.
