Desiring to strengthen cooperation between the two states on prevention and
elimination of crime by means of provisions aimed at the reciprocal extradition of offenders;
Thus:
Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the
Assembly of the Republic the following motion for a resolution:
Approve the Extradition Agreement between the Portuguese Republic and the Republic of India,
signed in New Delhi, on January 11, 2007, the text of which, in the authenticated versions in the
Portuguese, Hindi and English languages, publishes in attachment.
