Travel of the President of the Republic to New York
His Excellency the President of the Republic required, pursuant to paragraph 1 of the article
129 and (b) of Article 163 of the Constitution, the Assembly's assentiment of the
Republic to be absent from the national territory, on displacement of official character to
New York between days 22 and 26 of the current September in order to participate in the
63 2nd General Assembly of the United Nations.
Thus, I present to the Assembly of the Republic, in the regimental terms, the following
draft resolution:
" The Assembly of the Republic resolves, in accordance with point (b) of the article
163 and of Article 166 (5) of the Constitution, give the opinion of the
displacement of the official character of His Excellency the President of
Republic to New York, between days 22 and 26 of the current month of
September. "
