MOTION for a RESOLUTION paragraph 61/X Considering the need to consolidate and strengthen the European Union's presence in Tajikistan and, more generally, in the region of Central Asia, both in political and economic plan wants commercial; Whereas the aim of encouraging economic growth and promoting sustainable development, the fight against poverty and stability in Tajikistan and Central Asia, providing both a framework for EU cooperation with Tajikistan; Given that the agreement may encourage a gradual rapprochement between the Republic of Tajikistan and a wider area of cooperation in Europe and cooperation in border regions, as well as the phase-in in your international trading system open.

So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: Approving the partnership and cooperation agreement establishing a partnership between the European communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Tajikistan, on the other, including annexes I to IV the Protocol on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters and the Final Act, with the statements signed in Luxembourg on 11 October 2004, the text of the authenticated version in Portuguese language please find attached.
