MOTION for a RESOLUTION paragraph 63/X the Convention for the safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural heritage, adopted in Paris, 17 October 2003, during the 32nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, expresses a greater requirement of the international community, in particular the UNESCO and of its Member States, with the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the face of the emerging risks of globalization, mass tourism , of regional armed conflicts and the increasing vulnerability of the rural world; The Convention seeks to situate the Intangible Cultural Heritage to a decent range and supply any less attention that has been given in the past; So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: Approving the Convention for the safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural heritage, adopted in Paris, 17 October 2003, the text of which, in the authenticated versions in English and French language, as well as their translation into Portuguese language , published in the annex.
