MOTION FOR RESOLUTION No. 60 /X

Considering that at the XII Ibero-American Summit Meeting of Heads of State and Government,

held in Bavarian, in November 2002, if it agreed to strengthen the structure

institutional of the Ibero-American Conference and ensure its greater internal cohesion and

international projection;

Attending to that at the XIII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government,

held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in November 2003, it was decided to create the

Ibero-American General Secretariat;

Continuing Portugal committed to deepening its relationship with the

Ibero-American Conference, of which they are member states for which we are

unin unem secular historical, linguistic and cultural ties;

Thus:

Under the terms of the paragraph d) of Article 197 (1) of the Constitution, the Government presents to the

Assembly of the Republic the following proposal for a Resolution:

Approve the Agreement of Santa Cruz de la Sierra Constitutivo of the Registry -General Ibero-

American, signed in La Paz on November 16, 2003, as well as the Statute of the

Ibero-American General Secretariat, signed in São José, on November 20, 2004,

whose texts, in the authenticated versions in the Portuguese and Spanish languages, publish themselves

in attachment.
