1 MOTION for a RESOLUTION paragraph 30/X the Member States of the community of Portuguese Language countries, five years have elapsed since your Constitution, considered to be necessary to revise the statutes to out-of-date mechanisms and revamp for a better definition of responsibilities of some organs of the CPLP, in order to equip the Organization to meet its statutory objectives. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve, for ratification, the revision of the statutes of the community of Portuguese Language countries (CPLP), adopted by the Council of Ministers of CPLP, in your SAW ordinary meeting held in Sao Tome and Principe, on 31 July 2001 , the text of which, in the authenticated version in Portuguese language, if published in the annex.
