RESOLUTION No. 32/X the Member States of the community of Portuguese Language countries (CPLP) after six years of your Constitution, considered it necessary to review their Statutes with a view to them contemplate the accession of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the community. More review aimed to define the powers of new organs of CPLP, namely, the meetings of the Focal Points of cooperation and Sectoral ministerial meetings. So: under d) of paragraph 1 of article 197 of the Constitution, the Government presents to the Assembly of the Republic the following resolution: to approve, for ratification, the revision of the statutes of the community of Portuguese Language countries (CPLP), adopted by the Council of Ministers of CPLP, in your VII regular meeting held in Brasilia, on 30 July 2002 , the text of which, in the authenticated version in Portuguese language, if published in the annex.
