On the basis of article. 68 para. 2 of the Act of 25 June 1999 on the benefits cash social insurance sickness and maternity benefits (Journal of laws. # 60, poz. 636) are managed as follows: § 1. 1. § 5. 1. checking the regularity of the use of sick leave from work due to illness is to determine whether the insured person during the period of incapacity imposed: 1) does not perform paid work, 2) does not use sick leave from work in a manner inconsistent with its purpose.

2. The control referred to in paragraph 1. 1, also includes insured exempt from work as a result of the decision taken by the competent authority or authorized body on the basis of the provisions on combating communicable diseases or on combating tuberculosis.

§ 6. Control of the regularity of the use of the insured sick leave from work due to having personal custody or other sick family member is to determine whether: 1) an insured person does not perform paid work, 2) an insured person does not use sick leave from work in accordance with its purpose, 3) outside the insured person does not have other family members remaining in the joint household, likely to provide care; This does not apply to care for a sick child aged up to 2 years.

§ 7. Control of the regularity of the use of sick leave from work should be carried out where necessary, without setting fixed in advance of its time limits, and strengthened within particularly in periods where there is increased absenteeism due to illness or care.

§ 8. The person controlling the correctness of the use of sick leave from work the payer contributions issues authorise that entitles you to perform control also in the place of residence, the place of temporary residence or place of employment of the person controlled. Model of authorization is given in annex 1 to the regulation.

§ 10. § 11. The provisions of the regulation apply field respectively the social insurance agencies.

§ 13. The regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1999.
