Scope the regulation applies in Norway's territorial waters and economic zone, fisheries zone by Jan Mayen and fishing policy zone by Svalbard. For Norwegian vessels applies to these regulations also in the waters under the jurisdiction of other countries and in international waters.

§ 2. General prohibition it is prohibited to fishing and land bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) in 2016. The ban also applies to recreational fishing.

§ 3. The total quota Total quota is fixed at 43.71 tons. Without the obstacle of the prohibition in section 2 can Norwegian vessels with access to the delta, fishing and land up to 32 tons of bluefin tuna in Norway's territorial waters and economic zone. In addition to coverage 11.71 tonnes allocated of the inevitable by-catch of bluefin tuna in fishing for other species.

§ 4. Participation One vessel with the call not allowed and one vessel with access to fishing with a line can participate in the experimental fishing for bluefin tuna in 2016.
Vessel that fishes with ring tongue and who have been given access to participate in the experimental fishing can in the period from and with 25. June to 31. October fishing bluefin tuna in Norway's territorial waters and economic zone.
Vessels fishing with line and who have been given access to participate in the experimental fishing can in the period starting with 1. August through 31. December 2016 fishing bluefin tuna in Norway's territorial waters and economic zone.

§ 5. Registration and permit Vessels over 15 metres largest length that fish with ring not or line and that will participate in the fishery, must send the registration for fisheries at the following e-mail: postmottak@fiskeridir.no, per fax at no: 55 23 80 90 or by letter: Post box 185, 5804 Bergen city centre. Registration must be sent no later than 14. March 2016.
Fisheries choose out the vessels that are best suited to participate in the fishery for bluefin tuna among the entrants the vessels. No vessel can participate in fishing for bluefin tuna without permission from the Directorate of fisheries. It can be set criteria that the vessels participating in the fishery should have the observer from the Institute of marine research on board or collecting biological data after the specified guidelines.

section 6. Observers Call not vessels with access to participate in the experimental fishery will have 100% coverage of the observers from the regional observer program (RoP) to the International Commission for the conservation of tuna (ICCAT).
Linefartøy with access to participate in the experimental fishery will have 20% coverage of national observers.
The vessels can be ordered to go to the country to obtain the observer.
The vessels are obliged to cover all the costs of having observers on board, including the costs required by ICCAT and other costs that occur.

section 8. Prohibition of reloading it is forbidden to omlaste bluefin tuna.

§ 9. Ban on the use of aircraft and helicopter it is forbidden to use airplanes, helicopters or unmanned aerial vehicle in connection with fishing for bluefin tuna.

§ 10. Transfer of catch the volume that can be fished with the individual vessels cannot be transferred to other vessels. It is also forbidden to receive and to land catches which are fished by another vessel.

section 11. By-catch it is not allowed to have by-catch of mackerel or herring by fishing for bluefin tuna, unless bifangsten can be offset the vessel's quota.
By-catch of bluefin tuna fisheries are prohibited for herring, mackerel and other species.

§ 12. Fail of the quota by dumping or neddreping is catching intentionally or negligently dumped or otherwise killed, Fishery's Regional Office make decisions about a proportional installments of the quota. Fisheries are complaint authority.

section 15. Fisheries authority can impose on vessels that get the by-catch of bluefin tuna in fishing for other species to take samples of the catch and send these samples to the Institute of marine research.
Fisheries can stop fishing when the total quota is calculated oppfisket.
Fisheries can change the regulations and fix provisions that required closer to achieve a rational and appropriate exercise or implementation of the fishery.

§ 17. § 18. Entry into force these regulations will take effect immediately and apply to 31. December 2016. At the same time repealed regulations 18. December 2015 Nr. 1770 on the prohibition of fishing for bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) in 2016.
