§ 1. Scope the regulation applies for admission to the master's degree studies at the College of Hedmark. The provisions include master's degree of 120 study point scope and experience-based master's degree of 90-120 study points range.

§ 2. Minimum requirements for admission to the master's Graduate School Admission basis emerges from section 3 and section 5 of the national regulations on the requirements for the master's degree, established by the Ministry of education.

(1) For admission to the master's degree of 120 points of study scope (§ 3) must have one of the following education races be completed and passed:-bachelor's degree-URcand.mag.-degree-other degree or educational ran by a minimum of 3 years of scope-education which, according to section 3-4 of the law on universities and colleges are approved as being equivalent with the above degrees or educational run.

Within one of the aforementioned education ran it must enter into:-major in subjects, subject or topic group of minimum 80 study point scope or integrated education of a minimum of 120 points of study scope within the subject area of the master's degree.

(2) For admission to the experience-based master's degree of 90 or 120 point scope (§ 5) must have one of the following education races be completed and passed:-bachelor's degree-URcand.mag.-degree-other degree or educational ran by a minimum of 3 years of scope-education which, according to section 3-4 of the law on universities and colleges are approved as being equivalent with the above degrees or educational run.

In addition, required at least 2 years of relevant professional practice after completing basic education.

§ 3. Minimum requirements for admission to the master's studies on the basis of real expertise For admission on the basis of real expertise comes to the provisions given in the regulation for admission to studies at the College of Hedmark, § 4-4.

§ 4. Complementary rules in study plans, if any, will be determined closer to the requirements for recording the basis for each master's degree course of study, including any character requirements.

§ 5. Applicants with foreign qualifications (1) applicants with foreign education must provide evidence that this education in the level and scope correspond to the Norwegian education that provides the basis for admission. Applicants are assessed in accordance with the recommendations from the national body for quality in education (KUT) for eventual approval of higher education.

(2) applicants with other native language than Norwegian or another Nordic language, must document knowledge in the Norwegian equivalent to the requirements in the national regulations for admission to higher education in section 2-1 and § 2-2. The requirement for documentation of the Norwegian knowledge does not apply to English-language studies.

(3) Applicants must document knowledge of English equivalent to the requirements in the national regulations for admission to higher education § 2-1 and § 2-2 and embodied in the GSU-list.

section 6. Quotas the Board may fix quotas if special needs implies such an arrangement. Quota is a specific number of or a specific percentage of the seats will be distributed among the study that applicants that meet specific requirements. Normal scheme shall be that admission to master studies are made without the use of quotas.

section 7. Ranking of applicants for master studies If there are more qualified applicants than the number of study places, the applicants are ranked on the following grounds: (1) applicants with bachelor's degree or other education of 180 study points scopes that are approved as recording basis, are ranked on the basis of the weighted average of all exams that are included in this education.

(2) For applicants with URcand.mag. degree, general teacher/elementary school teacher education or other education that includes more than 180 study points, the ranking is made on the basis of the weighted average of the exams in the 180 study points. Subject, topic or subject group of minimum 80 study point scope or integrated education of a minimum of 120 study point scope, cf. § 2 section (1), to be included in the basis for ranking. By the way is selected the exams that provide more propitious score for the applicant.

(3) For applicants who get approved real competence as a part of their recording foundations, ranking the provisions given in the regulation on the admission to studies at the College of Hedmark, section 5-section 5 (2).

(4) with weighted average average of all ratings means testimony weighted in relation to the number of credits/credits on each character.

(5) For the conversion of ratings for the applicants as the basis for the calculation of weighted average applies: conversion of grades to the points: points 5 4 3 2 1 guy.

The passing (6) at the admission to the master's degree education, cf. § 2 section (1) of this regulation, be given additional points for: a) Education beyond recording the Foundation of 180 credits, according to the following rules:-0.5 points for 30 credits, a maximum of 2.0 points.

(7) by admission to the experience-based master's degree education, cf. § 2 section (1) of this regulation, be given additional points for: a) Education beyond recording the Foundation of 180 credits, according to the following rules:-0.5 points for 30 credits, a maximum of 2.0 points.

b) Relevant professional experience beyond the minimum requirement of 2 years, according to the following rules:-0.3 points per year relevant professional experience (full time), a maximum of 3.0 points.

For part-time for one year be given 0.25 points.

(8) Additional points for their own students may be granted where this is desirable. It can be given up to 3.0 points to applicants who are internal graduate students. Such an arrangement, if any, is determined in the study plan.

section 8. Recording outside of the ranking policies up to 15% of the applicants can be taken up outside of the ranking rules in section 7. § 9. Recording Committee/capture board Recording under section 3 and section 8 can be made by a Committee, the Board recording the recording or equivalent.

§ 10. The complaint the complaint on admission are processed by the College's appeals.

section 11. Application deadline application deadline is normally 1. March.
English-language master studies can have 1. February as application deadline.

§ 12. Entry into force these regulations shall enter into force immediately.
