Established by the Ministry of Government Administration 17 December 1993 pursuant to the Act of 13 August 1915. 6 of Civil Procedure (Civil Procedure) § 204 Nos. 2 and Law of 22 May 1981 no. 25 relating to legal procedure in criminal cases (Criminal Procedure ) § 118.

Competition Authority is authorized to make decisions on waivers of confidentiality by the Civil Procedure Act of 13 August 1915. 6 § 204 Nos. 2 and the Criminal Procedure Act of 22 May 1981 no. 25 § 118 in the case where a witness is subject to confidentiality by law 10 February 1967 § 13 of the Public administration affairs (Public administration) regarding information for:

Act of 7 July 1967 no. 13 on rent regulation for housing etc.

Law on 7 June 1974 No.. 22 about price regulations for iron and steel

Law 21 June 1985 No.. 82 on credit, etc.

Act of 11 June 1993 no. 65 on Competition in Commercial Activity (Competition Act)

-
Act of 11 June 1993 no. 66 on the price action.

This decision shall enter into force on 1 January 1994.
the same time the Administration Ministry's decision of 1 March 1993 on the authorization for the Price Directorate to make exceptions to the Civil Procedure Act and the Criminal Procedure Act regarding confidentiality.
