§ 1. Oil, fats and mixtures of this specific to the direct consumption, as well as compound foodstuffs with added oil, fats or mixtures of these with a total fat content of over 5%, shall not contain more than 5% erucic acid, calculated in from the total fatty acid content in the fat substances.

§ 2. By assessment of whether the requirements provided for in this regulation are not adhered to, then the analysis methods in accordance with annex II of the EEA Agreement part XII Nr. 27 (Kdir 80/891/EEC).

§ 3. Supervision and decision the FSA supervises and don't understand the decision to carry out the provisions given in and in pursuance of this regulation.

§ 4. Exemption the FSA can in special cases, the provisions of this dispense from these regulations, provided that it will not run counter to Norway's international obligations, including the EEA Agreement.

§ 5. Punishment intentionally or negligent violation of this regulation or the regulations and decisions given in pursuance of it, are punishable according to matloven § 28.

section 6. This Regulation shall enter into force at the same time that the EEA Agreement enters into force in Norway.
