Short Title
Regulations for quotation of exchange rates
Established by Norges Bank August 8, 2001 pursuant to the Act of 24 May 1985 no. 28 on Norges Bank and the Monetary System (Bank Act) § 24, cf.. Royal Decree. of 22 December 1989 no. 1274 and Delegated Decision of 19 August 1991 no. 602.
§ 1. Norges Bank will undertake regular quotation of exchange rates expressed in Norwegian kroner. The listing shall normally be made every business day.
§ 2. It should be noted prices measured in Norwegian kroner for the currencies in the daily conference Norges Bank participates in the exchange of exchange between central banks. It should also be noted rates in Norwegian accounting for SDR. Norges Bank may also note prices measured in Norwegian kroner for other currencies.
§ 3. Norges Bank shall, as soon as possible after price quotation publish courses to the public in an appropriate manner.
§ 4. Norges Bank to store historical data for individual currencies expressed in Norwegian kroner.
§ 5. This regulation comes into force on 20 August 2001. From the same date, the Regulations of 10 December 1998 on Norges Bank's quotation of market rates for currencies expressed in Norwegian kroner.1
