In section 1. Approved denaturation (1) Ethanol with alcohol strength up to 20 volume percentage is approved by the use of methylated one of denatureringsmidlene mentioned in section 2, in the specified amount.
(2) Ethanol with alcohol strength from and with 20 volume percentage is approved by the use of denatured two of denatureringsmidlene mentioned in section 2. Each of the two drugs must be added in a quantity of at least half of what is stated.
§ 2. Denatureringsmidler the following denatureringsmidler can be used in the specified amount of per 100 volume percent ethanol (CAS-nr. in parentheses): Acetone (67-64-1) 5 volume percent t-butanol (75-65-0) 2 by volume Dietylftalat (84-66-2) volume 0.7 per cent Etylacetat (141-78-6) 3 volume 2-propanol (67-63-0) 15 volume percent n-propanol (71-23-8) 15 volume percent methanol (67-56-1) 5 volume Metyletylketon (78-93-3) 2 by volume Metylisobutylketon (108-10-1) 3 volume percent § 3. ' Denaturing ' that require special approval Following denaturation can be approved by by documented needs the tax office (CAS-nr. in parentheses): Bensyldietylammoniumbenzoat (Bitrex) (3734-33-6) 0.016 g/litre of pure ethanol Thymol (89-83-8) 4 g/litre of pure ethanol, Toluene (108-88-3) 5 g/liter of pure ethanol Pure Capsaicin (404-86-4) 0.02 g/litre of pure ethanol, § 4. Denaturation of perfumes, cosmetics-and-toilet preparations Following denaturation is also approved for the technical ethanol and etanolholdige preparations that belong under the Customs tariffens chapter 33 (CAS-nr. in parentheses): (1) Bensyldietylammoniumbenzoat (Bitrex) (3734-33-6) 0.016 g/litre of pure ethanol Sucroseoctaacetat (Denatin) (126-14-7) 5 g/liter of pure ethanol Oils or parfymekomposisjoner 20 g/litre of pure ethanol (2) Denaturation which is in accordance with the approved denatureringskrav from countries in the European economic area.
§ 5. Denaturation of etanolholdig fuel (1) Etanolholdig fuel is approved denatured if the percentage gasoline makes up the 50 volume percent or more.
(2) the proportion of fuel gasoline Etanolholdig which make up less than 50 percent approved volume is denatured if the percentage gasoline makes up at least 12.5% of the etanolvolumet.
(3) Technical ethanol stored on premises approved by the tax office after fourth paragraph, are approved if the denatured contains gasoline with a share of at least 3 percent of the etanolvolumet. It is a condition that the facility belongs to the business registered for the gasoline tax, and that to use as the etanolen component in the fuel.
(4) the tax office to approve local for ethanol denatured after the third paragraph. It can be fixed criteria for validation, including terms related to the venue and other relevant devices, to the routines for proper securing of these, to the personnel who handle the etanolen and to the control of the venue.
II Regulation will take effect 1. January 2016.
