Short Title
Parliamentary Pension Committee Act

§ 1. Purpose The purpose of this law is to give the council for review of parliamentary pensions access to information necessary to carry out the mission that the Committee has been given by Parliament's Presidency mandate of 4 September 2008, in order to safeguard pensioners' rule of law, and to conduct independent investigations and reviews.

§ 2. Duty of disclosure committee for review of parliamentary pensions are entitled to obtain the necessary information notwithstanding the confidentiality following provisions:

Law of 13 June 1980 no. 24 on Tax Assessment Administration § 3-13.

Law of 28 February 1997 no. 19 on Insurance § 25.1 (access to employer registry and employee register).

Law of 16 June 2006 no. 20 on NAV § 7.

Law of 10 February 1967 relating to procedure in cases concerning public administration (Public Administration) § 13.

§ 3. Exemptions from licensing committee for review of parliamentary pensions need not apply for a license under the Act of 14 April 2000. 31 on the processing of personal data Chapter VI.

§ 4. Confidentiality Members of the committee for review of parliamentary pensions and anyone who performs services or work for the committee are bound to secrecy under the provisions of the Public Administration of 10 February 1967 §§ 13-13f.

§ 5. Liability Act of 13 June 1969. 26 for damages § 2.1 apply to damages incurred in connection with the committee's work for the state.

§ 6. Entry into force This Act comes into force immediately.
