Decision of 8 December 1989 laying down rules on exemption for motor vehicle liability insurance

On the proposal of the Minister of Finance of 6 June 1989, No BGW89-1600, Generale Thesauria, Directorate For Internal Funds, Insurance Division;

Having regard to Article 18 , first paragraph, and Article 19, third paragraph, of the Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act ;

The Council of State heard (opinion delivered on 23 August 1989, No W06.89.0312);

Having regard to the further report by our Minister of Finance of 4 December 1989, No BGW89-3034;

Have found good and understand:


Article 1

An exemption from the obligation to conclude insurance as referred to in the Article 18, first paragraph, second sentence, of the Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act ( Stb. In 1984, 269) may be granted to a legal person if the natural persons belonging to the institution empowered by law or by the Statute to apply for the exemption to apply for exemption have a majority view of the objections against the conclusion of insurance.

An exemption shall be granted to the legal person for five years. From the date on which an exemption has expired after the period referred to in the first sentence of the first sentence, a new exemption may be granted on request.

This decision may be referred to as: Decree-exemption of comfort-insurance motor vehicle liability insurance.

Burden and order that this Decision, together with a note of explanatory note to the State Sheet will be placed and copies thereof will be sent to the Council of State.
