On September 29, 2016, Mrs Maia Laguta, candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova, appointed by the Assembly of the citizens, to the Central Electoral Commission registration approach as a candidate in the presidential election of October 30, 2016, with the following documents: a) numbered lists and subscription by systematized;
   b) Biographical data of the candidate;
   c the candidate statement) consent to stand for elections of the President of the Republic of Moldova, which contains and the statutory declaration about the absence of legal prohibitions to legal/candida;
   the candidate statement d) real estate and bank deposits, securities, amounts received as inheritance and income over the last two years preceding the year in which the election is carried out, as well as sources of income, including income from investment funds, in the form of interest payments, from the rental of property, etc.;
   e health certificate) of the candidate for the post of President of the Republic of Moldova issued by a medical institution at which it is highlighted;
   f) copy of the identity card of the applicant, with accompanying card;
   g) approach on the appointment of the representative of the advisory vote in the Central Election Commission and the person responsible for finance (Treasurer).
   The Commission notes that the statement about the suspension, during the election campaign, the functions held for persons falling within the scope of art. 13(2). (3) of the electoral code does not have to be filed, because as Chairman of the public association "Safeguard", held at the time of Ms. Maia Laguta, not under these legal provisions.
   The set of documents presented to the Commission is annexed to the candidate's electoral symbol Maia Laguta for printing the ballot papers-white backdrop in the form of the square are located in a row letters "MAIA" black.
   As the person responsible for the finances of the candidate (Treasurer) was named Mrs. Tatiana Grebeniuc.
   Materials submitted were verified and it was found that these meet the requirements of the electoral code.
   Under the rules of teaching documents and receipt of subscription by the lists presented by Ms Maia Laguta, Central Electoral Commission received for verification of subscription by 655 with signatures of supporters 18831, numeric declared candidate, of 21 of administrative-territorial units of the second level, in support of Mrs Maia Laguta as candidate to the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, the Commission notice that 300 were returned blank, and lists 45 lists have not been returned to the Commission.
   Following the verification of the authenticity of the data of subscription by 649 lists, containing 3635 18641 signatures, signatures were declared null and void, and the other shall be considered as processed 15196 signatures are valid and meet legal requirements in support of the candidate to the position of President of the Republic of Moldova, încadrîndu-in limit requirements laid down in article 23. 102 paragraph 1. (1) and (2) of the electoral code. In these circumstances, the Working Group decided to ban the process of verifying the lists of subscription by, on the grounds that the minimum requirements laid down by law have been met.
   Also, note that the Commission has informed the group that the account opened with the words "intended for initiative group" and the only activity which does not involve financial expense, in accordance with section 5 of the Regulation on the financing of the initiative groups and approved by the CEC decision nr. 114 of 18 august 2016.
Given the fact that they have been complied with legal provisions pertaining to the appointment and registration of the candidate to the position of President of the Republic of Moldova, in accordance with article 10. 13, 15, 18, 26 and 38, para. (2) (a). 41 to 44), 48, para. (4), 100, 101 and 102 of the election code no. 1381-XIII of 21 November 1997 and in accordance with the provisions of the regulation relating to the particularities of designation and registration of candidates in the elections for the President of the Republic of Moldova, approved by the decision of the Central Election Commission no. 113 from august 18, 2016, and the Regulation on the method of drawing up, authentication, verification and presentation of petitions, approved by the decision of the Central Election Commission no. 2682 1 October 2014, the Central Electoral Commission decides: 1. dna is recorded as Maia Laguta candidate at elections of the President of the Republic of Moldova of 30 October 2016.
   2. Record the electoral symbol to print the ballot papers for the election as President of the Republic of Moldova of 30 October 2016-white backdrop in the form of the square are located in a row letters "MAIA" black.
   3. It is confirmed as the person responsible for finance (Treasurer) Mrs. Tatiana Grebeniuc.
   4. notes that the initiative group has not opened the account with the words "intended for initiative group" and the only activity which does not involve financial expense, in accordance with section 5 of the Regulation on the financing of the initiative groups and approved by the CEC decision nr. 114 of 18 august 2016.
   5. this decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption, shall be published on the official website of the Central Election Commission and the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
