Pursuant to article 5 paragraph 1. (1) (a)) and art. 11(2). (3) of the law on metrology of nr. 19 of March 4, 2016 (Official Gazette of the RM, no. 2016, 100-104, art. 190), the Government DECIDES: 1. to approve the official list of measuring instruments and measurements subject to legal metrological control (to be attached).
2. the repealed the official list of measuring instruments that are subject to mandatory metrological control of L.O.-2004 State, approved by the decision of the Department of standardization and Metrology nr. 1445-4 January 2004 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, no. 35-37, art. 81).
3. Medical devices with a measuring function defined in 1.1.4, positions 2.1, 2.8, 2.9, 5.2.4.2, 5.2.6, 8.3.4, 9.3.2, 9.3.3, 9.5, 11.5, 10.1.5 in the annexed table, irrespective of the marketing method, will not be subject to periodical metrological checks upon expiry of one year from the entry into force of the present judgment.
4. Ministry of health, within the period prescribed in section 3, will develop the requirements and procedures for periodic checking of medical devices with a measuring function that are in use, as well as the criteria for conformity assessment bodies performing periodic verification of these devices.
5. this decision shall enter into force on 15 October 2016.
