In accordance with the provisions of article 111 of the labour code of the Republic of Moldova No. 154-XV of 28 March 2003 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, nr. 159-162, art. 648), with subsequent amendments and additions, and in order to achieve optimal organization of work time and rest periods in the year 2016, the Government DECIDES: 1. March 12 is considered a working day, and March 7-rest day.
2. Ministries, other central administrative authorities, heads of enterprises, institutions and organisations will ensure, on 12 March, the effective activity of subordinated units.
