In order to improve management of state-owned trademarks for alcoholic products, in accordance with Law no. 38-XVI of 29 February 2008 on the protection of trademarks (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, no. 99-101, art. 362), as amended and supplemented, and art. 338 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova no. 1107-XV of 6 June 2002 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, no. 82-86, art. 661), as amended and supplemented, the Government DECIDES:
1. To approve:
1) The list of the state-owned trademarks for alcoholic products according to appendix. 1;
2) The list of the state-owned trademarks for alcoholic products for which no renewal of registration will be done according to appendix. 2.
2. It is established that the management of the state owned trademarks for alcoholic production will be conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry in accordance with the Regulation on the use of trademarks owned by the state, approved by Government Decision no. 852 of 16 August 2001 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, no. 100-101, art. 886), as amended and supplemented.
March. Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, as the holder of the trademarks owned by the state, will ensure, as established, brand management included in Annex. 2 to this decision until the expiry of their protection.
4. Government Decision is repealed. 1080 of 8 October 2001 "On approval of the list of the state-owned trademarks" (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, no. 124-125, art. 1128).
